DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOROLA
🍍🍍🍍 assalamualaikum wr wb 🍍🍍🍍
this time I will discuss about motorola
the
beginning of motorola
formation
Motorola's journey began with the
purchase of battery eliminator business in Chicago, Illinois, by two brothers
Paul V. Galvin and Joseph E. Galvin. In September 1928 they named the company
Galvin Manufacturing Corporation. The company had $565 in working capital and
five employees. The first week's payroll was $63.

The company's first products were
battery-eliminators, devices that enabled battery-powered radios to operate on
household electricity. Due to advances in radio technology, battery-eliminators
soon became obsolete. Paul Galvin learned that some radio technicians were
installing sets in cars, and challenged his engineers to design an inexpensive
car radio that could be installed in most vehicles. His team was successful,
and Galvin was able to demonstrate a working model of the radio at the June
1930 Radio Manufacturers Association convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
He brought home enough orders to keep the company in business.
From 1936 onwards Galvin's production dominated the
radio manufacturing line for cars and telephone receivers.
in 1940, before the Second World
War the company had begun making the best product known as a walkie-talkie.
in 1947 they managed to produce
their first television and change the company name from Galvin Manufacturing
Corporation to "Motorola" and then focus on continuing the creation
of communication media such as Motorola mobile phones.
In
1967, Motorola expanded to foreign countries such as Australia, Canada, France,
Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Korea,
Taiwan, Britain and West Germany.

In 1969, Motorola began supplying
to the National Aeronautics of America (NASA) with radio equipment so that
astronauts can communicate with their earth center.
In 1973, Motorola made a demo of the first mobile phone Motorola named DynaTAC that uses radio technology and was
released in 1984. Motorola began to combine both computers and radio technology
to create the first DynaTAC-operated mobile network. Motorola
then started making small and smaller mobile handsets. In 1996 Motorola
released StarTAC. Motorola has finally released
Cross-Technology PoC that allows customers to have
"push-to-talk" connectivity across and between GPRS, CDMA2000 1X, and
WiFi networks.

In
2000, Motorola and General Instrument Corporation merged to improve their
services. In 2001 Motorola introduced the Motorola V60 phone, which is the
world's first metal phone available on GSM, TDMA and CDMA cellular networks. In
2002 Motorola released a GPS chip that can be installed into consumer
electronics devices to enable location positioning. Motorola also released 3G
which is transmitted via CDMA network.Motorola has finally released Cross-Technology PoC that allows customers to have "push-to-talk" connectivity

The
company was practically lost in direction until 2004, but afterwards he made a
big splash with the introduction of Razr clamshell handset. The surprising success of this handset prompted the
company to aggressively cut prices (and margins) to capture market share but
had failed to develop a viable successor device. Until finally appears Droid X
and Droid 2 with Android OS.
