IT FACILITIES ARE CONTAINED IN GUNADARMA UNIVERSITY

There are no beautiful words that can be spoken other than the word puja and thanks be to the presence of Allah SWT, which gave me the opportunity to write an article entitled “IT Facilities Are Contained in Gunadarma University”.

 IT facilities are a means to facilitate the implementation in accordance with its function consisting of hardware and software in supporting and improving the quality of information quickly and with quality. As one of the leading private information and communication technology-based colleges in Indonesia, Gunadarma University also has IT facilities as a means of information to improve student learning. With this IT facility, students are expected to be able to explore their abilities and talents. 

The following are IT facilities at Gunadarma University: 

1.     Integrated Laboratory or commonly known as ILAB 

A gunadarma student’s practice lab, ilab is located on the 3rd floor of building 1 and 2nd floor of building 1, campus H coconut two. In Ilab itself, it has its own rules or regulations, namely dressing a black shirt and skirt for women and black material pants for men and wearing closed shoes, prohibited from bringing food or drinks into ILAB's room, prohibited from carrying weapons, etc. 

The features or menus found on this site include: 

In ILAB there are 2 menus, namely 

- introduction of ILAB 

- ILAB rules. 

While the features include practicum, in this lab there are 2 menus including: 

- Practical Tutorial: this tutorial has many menus including pre-practicum, login, pretest 

- practicum module: if a student wants to do practicum first download the material / module. 

2.     Computerized Development Lab or commonly known as LepKom 

The virtual-based independent lepkom course is a course with learning methods that emphasizes the activeness and independence of students in understanding, studying and exploiting selected course material. The technical implementation of the course includes working on the pretest, making the code / practice and post test. Learning through print modules, videos and practical activities (creating programs, running simulations, etc.).

3.     Studentsite
 

Studentsite is one of the types of online services available at Gunadarma University in the form of student personal sites that contain information, notifications about lectures and assignments, data on assignments and writings that have been linked, data seminars that have been followed, know about IPK values who have been inputted, and know the latest news.

The features contained in studentsite include:

- Home: a personal page that contains the latest news

- Biodata / photo: concerning personal profile

- Academic: which contains a summary of the values ​​that can be seen in the academic display and for other academic administrations. In this feature you can see the value, register the session, upload photos and other activities related to academic activities.

- Portfolio: in the portfolio there are 2 menus, namely writing, which is a facility used by students to store posts posted from student blogs. This article will link to UG citizens' reports and assignments which are facilities used by students to post soft skill assignments given by lecturers. And there are many more features found in studentsite such as BAAK, E-LIBRARY, E-JOURNAL, REPOSITORY, ETC. 

4.     Staffsite 

Which is the official homepage of Gunadarma University staff which contains material from lecturers and at the staffsite there is also a profile of the staff.

5.     PSMA Online
 

Online Academic Management System (PSMA) Development is a structural unit at the Gunadarma University level which is involved in processing academic information. Students can fill in their own KRS directly to the Computer Terminal, which is guided by Academic Advisors and Academic Advisors that are shown for each class. In addition, PSMA online prints KRS and student cards that are equipped with smartcard technology, RFID and electronic payment instruments that are implemented in collaboration with the Bank.
